Why come to therapy?Whether you are stressed about life issues or struggling with your mental health, therapy can help. Therapy gives you a private place to discuss what is happening in your life and offers the support you need in order to move forward. Therapists are trained to assist you with the issues you are facing by using evidenced-based treatment techniques to improve your well-being.

How does therapy work?Therapy will start with an intake session (approx. 1 hour) where we’ll gather your background information and discuss what you are trying to address in therapy. The following sessions will be about 45 mins to an hour and allow you to discuss what you feel is most important and begin working toward goals. Therapy usually starts with client’s meeting weekly to assess their needs and then can transition to bi-weekly or monthly once symptoms have improved.
